Srinagar, March 7 : The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather update for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting cloudy conditions with light rain and snow at isolated places from March 7-9.
The weather is expected to intensify from March 10-12, with many places likely to experience light rain and snow, while higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora, Ganderbal, and Anantnag may receive moderate snowfall.
Farmers have been advised to suspend farm operations during this period, as day temperatures are expected to drop by 4-6°C from March 9 onwards, lasting till March 12. The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy with light rain and snow at isolated places from March 13-17.
